Thank goodness lynching is finally recognized as a crime. It was a heavy burden to live in a country where you could lynch people with complete impunity.
Hopefully, when Harris is president she’ll make lynching illegal again and again.

Incredible! We’ve waited for so long. I don’t understand why we don’t do a federal holiday to mark this occasion. An end to lynching! That’s nothing to sneeze at. Maybe we even need several days off work to honor every victim who died since 1955.
