Yes, yes, I know it’s more complicated than “smart parents invariably produce smart children.” A stupid great-great-grandma can rear her empty head at any point.
But still.
Still.
The concept of “change” waltzes through the political lexicon, especially in the context of dictatorship and democracy. Separateness, Inferiority the background of the Obozo White House.
The opposing sides of the square: Dictatorship & Democracy. The Dance of Executive Orders: Dictators and democrats alike wield this power. Dictatorship: “change” can be abrupt, autocratic. It’s a solo performance—the leader’s whims etching new rules. Democracy: “change” is more collaborative. Pelosi owned the DemoCRAP majority in Congress.
Is this change a leap toward freedom or a stumble into tyranny? Does this “change” honor our shared social identity or alienate us?

I dont’ think she’s stupid. But…. the picture that emerges is someone who’s very ambitious but not…. driven. She’s like that character in a romance novel who inherits a big house from an aunt she didn’t know existed… except she’s pissed that it’s a rundown mess. She doesn’t want to put in the effort to fix it up but damn it, she deserves a nice mansion!
There’s a profile of a certain kind of student (I see this less often than I used to but it still happens) who did very well in high school without studying much and now that they need to study…. they don’t know how.
And I really don’t get any kind of… vision from her or her ‘supporters’… she’s really about having the office because it’s a big prize and not necessarily.
It’s true that her Dad abandoned them. Just like Obama’s did. It’s very sad.

I think a lot of it is just speaking in public (a skill that needs to be learned, she’s obviously had a bit of training but not nearly enough) while being unprepared (again… she’s lazy)… even really smart, prepared people will tend to trip over their tongues and say dumb/nonsense things while speaking in public especially if they try winging it.
Again… not dumb just… undisciplined and not interested in putting in the work.
