Ihsan Ali and his wife Zahraa tried to murder their 17-year-old daughter for refusing an arranged marriage to an older man. The videos of the attempted honor killing are too disturbing to post here.
One of the most shocking things about the story is that it didn’t take place in Afghanistan but in Lacey, Washington. Why it was extremely important to inflict Ihsan and Zahraa on Lacey, Washington remains unclear.
Meditation vs. Thoughts
Meditation starts with reflexology in eastern philosophies. Yin/Yang Male/Female Positive/Negative bi-polar battery. The 10 meridians affix to the 10 major internal organs. Feelings compare to colors – hard to describe through word metaphors. The smell of fresh cut grass for green etc. Meditation makes a focus upon other primary senses rather than what pops into the mind as random thoughts. Freud theorized that the mind served as the seat of feelings. Eastern philosophy argues that the major internal organs and hormones shape and impact what emotions that a person feels. This meditation delves into feelings prioritizing this rational awareness over thoughts a person might think.
Starting with reflexology pick a target organ, like the liver on one foot. And an opposing target organ, like the kidneys on the other foot. Make strong/painful reflexology manipulations of these two organs affixed to the sole of ones feet. Shiatsu message the points on the liver meridian for the one foot and leg; contrasted by the kidney meridian for the other foot and leg. A vigorous message on the target points in both meridians a person can feel long after the immediate message ends.
Affix the in-hale to the one foot and its meridian points felt. And affix the ex-hale to the other foot and its meridian points felt. This message preparation serves as the internalized focus points for the mind to concentrate upon. Meditation all about making a focus upon feelings felt rather that ideas thought in the mind.
The Asian concept of Chi, perhaps qualifies as the physical arousal of causing the mitochondria function in the muscles to produce ATP from ADP.
