Very busy at work, so can anybody please explain why my newsfeed is filled with discussions of bathrooms again? Has something bathroomy happened? I don’t have time to unravel this.

Apparently Nancy Mace (SCarolina presumably R) has filed a bill to prevent men from using women’s restrooms in federal properties….

And Michael Johnson has announced men are not allwoed to use women’s restrooms or locker rooms on capital hill…

(Not sure of the temporal or other connections between the two).

Do people never tire of the toilet drama? Can we settle this issue once and for all and move on?

And the newly elected trans representative from Delaware says they will use the men’s room as directed by the Speaker.

Women pose a lot less danger to men than men to women. There’s no equivalency here. The problem with men in women’s toilets is not that they’d masculinize the space but that they’d assault women. As keeps happening wherever this is normalized.

Men to not raise the lids when they pee and splash the toilet seats! Gross.
