Obsessed

This tweet absolutely slaughtered, and yes, that’s truly a thing on the extremes of both left and right:

  1. Completely OT, but are you following developments in that Michigan Walmart incident?

Could not ask for a better endorsement of the recent Trump mental health executive order.

    1. …but also, it’d be hard to find a more perfect encapsulation of how leftie bureaucrats view the sort of people who shop at Walmart. The whole episode is like… if you set out to write a novel about how left policies are harming the working class in America, this would be it.

      1. I’ve watched the video several times now. It’s a thing of beauty: attack ultimately stopped by a competent married black man with a legal firearm (though every WM has a sign on the front saying firearms not allowed) who was shopping with his family when the attack began. He was assisted (without any racial friction because among the working class in flyover country that is a liberal fantasy) by a couple of white men, they don’t apparently know each other but they don’t seem to have had any trouble sorting out who was in charge and who was assisting. Nobody gets shot. Strangers render aid to the wounded immediately.

Yeah, you are looking at instinctive male hierarchical response to crisis. My wife was also always astounded by how position/status changed depending upon specific knowledge and experience.
