She said she realized she wants to go back to Ukraine and have another baby.

Then there is hope. If someone who has spent years in a war-torn country is offered the opportunity to live in one of the world’s richest nations, yet chooses to return home to have a child, it can only mean they belong to a civilisation that is worth preserving.
Let us all praise the brave and gallant people of Ukraine. They are fighting to preserve European civilisation.

None of the Ukrainians I brought here wanted to stay. They liked it here, found a lot to admire. But everyone wants to go home to Ukraine.
Nationalism is a wonderful force.

Also, the American dream is dead. This is not the USA of the 80s or 90s. Trump, Democrats, and Republicans keep accelerating the decay and internal rot.

Not surprised. Not least because thanks to left/liberal policies “immmigrant” is now coded as “low class third world criminal and/or scammer”. Which is a shame, not least, because that’s pretty much all the US can attract now.
