Why specifically for Millennials? Why are Millennials still dating? And if they are, why are expensive mating rituals needed when you are past 40 and not looking to procreate?
As for the cost itself, this is not an average restaurant. It’s an expensive restaurant. Unless you are an alcoholic and need 10 drinks to relax, in which case you won’t be dating much because you’d be too worn out for it.
I’m gonna need a detailed definition for “date” here.
This sounds like a YSCPINYC problem, i.e. “date” means uber fare, drinks, sit-down restaurant dinner for two, and… movie tickets?
Obviously normal people living outside fashionable urbs can go bowling and get pho for a lot less.

We can go to the fanciest steakhouse in town, really high quality food, and pay less. Outside of a few large coastal cities, this is not an average outing.
