I’m finding out fascinating things about the life of Francisco Franco from his biography by Stanley G. Payne and Jesús Palacios. For instance, it turns out that Franco’s father Nicolás was a left-liberal who abandoned Franco’s pious mother Pilar for a life of dissipation in Madrid. He was also a raging pedo who impregnated and abandoned a 14-year-girl at the age of 33. Nicolás was really upset when his son became the right-wing dictator of Spain.
In a rejection of his father’s life journey, Franco became a chaste, faithful family man in adulthood.

This guy, for mysterious algorithm reasons, has haunted my YT feed for what seems like years. I don’t mind him: he seems to make a living being mildly humorous, inoffensive, and stereotypically German. I never go looking for him, he’s just always there. I’ve subconsciously tracked him like a vague acquaintance as he made all the jokes about living in Germany. And then, he seemed to be everywhere all at once, doing the same schtick, but joking about people living in/moving to Indonesia, Spain, India, Japan, and everywhere else on the planet.
I figured he had got internet-famous and made enough money being a socmed personality to travel, and was doing the obligatory world tour. Who wouldn’t?
Apparently, he was scoping out countries to expat his family to, so he could raise his daughter somewhere she’d be safe and free. I now feel sad for this random internet dude I don’t know!
Even all set to move away, he still has to self-censor about it.

Thank you for posting! Only a little over a year ago people told me here on the blog that I somehow magically caused myself to be harassed by migrants in Hamburg because I subconsciously wanted to be harassed. We are all supposed to be pretending this isn’t happening because it’s inconvenient for the grand narrative. We are pissing away one of the major achievements of our civilization and we are supposed to pretend we aren’t noticing.
