We never saw Ukrainian attacks of this kind on Russian territory during the Biden administration because Biden didn’t allow them. Or whoever was there in reality instead of Biden.

Now, on the other hand, the destruction of the Russian oil industry and military infrastructure by long-distance precise Ukrainian strikes is a daily occurrence. Neither civilians nor cultural objects are ever attacked. I personally do not support that, but that’s how Ukraine is choosing to conduct its retaliation strikes.

        Also, Zelensky calmly announces, “we will make your Moscow burn.” On the next day, Moscow burns.

        As they say in Russian, “пацан сказал, пацан сделал.” A dude said he’ll do it, and he did it.

          Politics 101: Do not make threats that you’re incapable of carrying out. Going from “we will destroy your civilization” to “we will give you 300 billion for you to like us again” in a space of a few weeks is not a good strategy.

            There’s nothing very inspiring in the way he’s getting out of it but I will give him credit for realizing the well is dry… some would keep on digging and spend a lot more….

            And if it means that he won’t hop and jump everytime Israel tries to sell him a bag of magic beans then that’s all to the good.

            An expensive lesson… but hopefully one learned.

    Let’s be honest: Ukraine did not have the capability to attack deep inside Russia with its own weapons in the previous years because these types of drones were not available yet. In 2022-2024 Ukraine depended on American and European missiles and yes, I hate Biden for being a chicken. I don’t think Ukrainians are asking anyone for a permission now. Can’t wait to see their ballistic missiles in action.

      Let’s be honest, for three years, the Ukrainian authorities begged Biden and Jake Sullivan to give permission for these strikes. The permission never came.

      I have discussed this for years, right here on the blog. How is it possible that people’s minds get erased like that? This was a big topic, constantly discussed everywhere.
