Tucker will endorse AOC for president yet, and maybe then the people who protest whenever I say that he is a leftist will finally be convinced. Or not. Changing one’s opinion on the basis of new evidence is something that very few psyches can afford.

There is this guy called Jack Neel, a podcaster I never heard of before, but he’s clearly quite talented. Tucker gave a long interview to him the other day. I highly recommend watching it, especially the part where Tucker talks about Trump. It starts somewhere after the 1 hour 30 minute mark. I think it’s really clear and speaks for itself.

Kid, Tucker and myself are men that love the outdoors and were particularly fortunate enough to find a woman that loved us. That is almost all that we have in common. Tucker can be fairly “spinny” — but no functional adult man should see through AOC’s wiles, which why I made that wager.
While I call myself a doubting Thomas, I am not foolish enough to imagine that chemistry somehow created consciousness; that there is absolutely nothing greater than myself. Tucker considers himself an Episcopalian. But his quiet acceptance of the current Iranian Shiite fundamentalism does frighten me, and probably should frighten any moral human, talk about demonic behavior:

OT but have you seen this one?

more than 430,000 of them have mortgages.
We just had to drop out of our current house search because TransUnion mistakenly recorded a lost-card replacement as a ‘closed account’ and dropped my husband’s credit score more than fifty points overnight. We no longer qualify for the mortgage we got pre-approved for.
We’re disputing that of course, but we have no idea how long it’ll take to fix it.
That’s after years of painstakingly building him a decent credit score up from *zero* credit history when we got married, because he’d never had a credit card or taken out a loan.
But yeah, let’s take nearly half a million people who have no papers at all and whose residency status is “temporary,” who have no credit history, and just give them mortgages. It’s fine. This is great. What could possibly go wrong.
Trying not to cry.
Five years of trying to buy a house and failing. But if you just stepped off the boat from Haiti with no birth certificate, no credit, no job history, no bank account.. no worries! There’s probably an NGO that’ll help you buy a house!

My friend, I’m so, so sorry. This sucks beyond belief. I hope your situation gets resolved soon and you get your mortgage. We had a similar situation because my husband also didn’t have a credit score before we got married.
In the meantime, the entire banking system is put at risk of the same collapse as already happened in 2008 to promote the ideology of endless migration. The insanity of this setup is beyond maddening. And the fact that liberals think that the way in which the welfare state and the banking industry have been harnessed to privilege temporary Haitians is an argument in favor of more migration is outlandish. These people inhabit a different reality. They have completely lost touch.
The only good news is that at least we now have a government that is trying to do something to reverse all this madness.

Ugh.
The real problem is that I need the numbers to make sense, and most people buying houses for the last five years have been using some alternate-dimension math that I’m not willing to use without understanding how it works. 98th percentile on the SAT and I am too dumb to figure out how to buy a friggin house. Or perhaps that’s a faith-based thing and not amenable to grasping with the intellect.
Personally, I don’t have that level of trust in loan officers and real estate agents.
So… this setback is just the last in a whole cascade of incomprehensibility, and maybe it is God reaching down and saying: NO. And we will thank Him for it later, once we’re over the immediate suck.
I am ready to turn the gameboard over and rage-quit, buy a crappy trailer, move it onto some family property, and be done with all this. I want three things out of the house hunt:
-stop moving the kids every two years
-stop getting ripped off by ghetto slumlords
-a garden (that doesn’t require written permission from the landlord)
A swamp trailer would do all that. I just have to talk my husband over.

I am very sorry to hear about your recurrent mortgage tribulations, it is so unfair. I do hope that the latest mishap can be resolved promptly so that you and your family finally get the home you searched so long and hard for.
