The worst part is that she publishes these letters. She must believe they make a good impression.
The problem here is not spelling or handwriting. It’s that the kids know mommy is wounded and work hard to anaesthesize her wound.

One would need to both understand and empathize with Millennial social media personal branding to judge this one. That generation and the ones following it have a whole virtual life that appears to be as real to them as all the parts not on it.
As a master of said branding Miss Clarissa might be on point with the young mother’s effectiveness in skewing the culture toward homeschooling.
But sometimes the wit and charm with which she shivs other women with words is unnerving.

The reason why I will be extremely unlikely to make such a comment about a man is that men are extremely unlikely to post this kind of thing. Men do not ask for social approval in this form. This is a very, very female thing. I would very much like it not to be so. The heavy-handed fishing for approval is such a large part of communication within female communities that I’m forced to avoid them.

Mommy does too much defensive talking at home about the homeschooling. Self-doubt. That could be because of hostile inlaws or something– no telling.
