AOC announced that she broke up with her fiancé. People are freaking out, saying that she’s going to be the next president. Women will find a single childless woman withering alone so non-threatening that they will vote for her in droves, they say.
My take is that if the American people prefer a mother of frozen eggs to a father of four children, they deserve everything they get.
If Democrats run AOC after running and losing with Kamala in 2024, they deserve to lose again regardless who then Republican nominee is.
I seriously doubt Democrats are this dumb, but I guess we’ll see soon enough.

But who else do they have? Newsom is very white. Everybody else is incompetent. AOC is big on social media, and they might find that very reassuring.

Did she actually announce anything about her relationship status? The reporting on it is more like sleuthing – third party reports she called off engagement two years ago, was last photographed with fiance five (!) years ago.
