I honestly think that that was the best Windows.
OK, Windows 7 was also not bad. But everything since has been disappointing.

For Word, the absolute best version was 97-2003 before they rolled out the cursed ribbons which added a lot of time and effort to things I could do quickly and easily before- a horrible harbinger of things to come…
