Right. There’s enormous variation in fertility among women, so this must mean that saying that women are the biological sex that gets pregnant and gives birth is wrong. The smugness with which people routinely roll out this nugget of wisdom is extraordinary. “Women in menopause can’t give birth, so what, are they men?” “I know one Asian guy who is stupid, so you must be wrong about Asians having high IQs on average.” “I know this one very tall woman, so you can’t claim that, on average, women are shorter than men.”

    The problem is that Cofnas sometimes seems distant, awkward — neither Kisin nor Weinstein are stupid ;-D

      He’s definitely not one of those brilliant public speakers who come up with funny jokes on the spot and keep the conversation engaging for the listeners. A great teacher and a great scholar do not necessarily coexist in the same person.

      If after all this, Spaniards still vote for the socialists, they truly deserve all they get.

        Of course. But I don’t remember seeing stories about locals chasing them out before. That could be an interesting shift.

          I am so afraid of hoping for something good. This whole situation hit me very hard because of how important Spain is to me. I can’t look at its destruction if I can’t be sure that people will stop the insanity.

                Well Kid, from earliest childhood, I was taught one does not to beat up girls. As an adult, I understand the relative difference in bone thickness. But situations like that does make one wonder if a swift boot in her arse might not help engage her brain ;-D

                The way I was brought up, we had to be constantly reminded that girls should stop trying to beat up boys. The domestic abuse I witnessed growing up was always women abusing men, including physically.

                In my husband’s family, it was different. Both parents wore abusive shits.

                Most of what I have seen were in Reserves, involved heavy drinking, and while generally started by women, usually ended poorly. The only that didn’t involved murders, one with an axe, the other, a shotgun. Fetal Alcohol Syndrom is unfortunately fairly common in those areas, and I wonder about the areas you are describing.
