Her dad was Robert Rowland, 75 years old and a vulnerable man living with Parkinson’s and a brain injury.

I’m weeping. “Incredibly close.”

I was on the phone with my elderly mom today twice for a total of 96 minutes. Yesterday, twice, for a total of 72 minutes. It’s like that every day.

My mom and I are not close.

    This is one of those comprehension problems that arise from the fact that there are a lot of people on the internet who are actually living in a parallel dimension. Their communications leak through. It’s just similar enough to be confusing.

      I would be overjoyed if somebody wanted to take over my mother’s care. I don’t care about property. If anybody were willing to do it, they deserve all the property they can get.
