“What are you thinking about?” I ask.
“Oh, sorry, I got distracted,” he says. “I had this dream tonight…”
“What was it about?”
“It was about the molecule of acetone,” he informs me.

Once we have been in our home country, we went to the sea together with my wife’s brother and his wife. So we were walking in the sea, about knee deep in water. And I started to make clouds of sand with my feet and observe their behavior.
-What are you thinking about – my wife’s brother asked me.
-About the dynamics of propagation of a cloud of sand in the water – I answered. 🙂 Without a wink, or anything, just in an absentminded professor kind of way, continuing to observe the cloud of sand.

In the beginning of the semester, I was having trouble visualizing a three-dimensional coordinate system. Then I had a dream where a character from a book (not even the one I was reading) was having the same trouble, and I explained that it was like a chessboard. From then on, I understood it.

Actually, it’s a great dream because it means you are about to get some really great news. I had a very similar dream last week and then on the next day I got great news. 🙂 It’s an old superstition from my country but it always works.
Also, if your left palm itches, you will be coming into money. Works every single time.

Last weekend, I had this dream where I was in the opera. So I listened to a great performance of Don Giovanni for free. And the decorations and the costumes were beautiful.
Being a Humanities nerd has its uses, too. 🙂
