A student writes, “Choosing murder over divorce allows a woman to keep a good reputation and a divorce off her record.”

I swear to God, I’m not inventing any of this.

I guess the end of the semester brings an animal out in everybody. 🙂

I don’t think that sort of behavior has ever infected any animal I have come to know and love. 🙂

Oh man. I love these student posts. They are so hilarious. If I didn’t know from my own experiences with students, I would swear they were made up. But alas! All too true. 😉

Okay, that’s why he would found that “positive”. Or maybe these men thugs prefer murder to divorce for their own record…

I am guessing that it refers to a woman murdering her husband so sh does not have to divorce him. I think this is most often done when a woman fears for her life, however, not just to avoid a divorce.

Of course David, women don’t do evil things. When they do, it’s somehow a man’s fault.

According to people I have known in Public Defender offices, this is true far more often than we men’s rights advocates like to believe.

        @ David,
you mean that in most cases some man caused the woman to do something bad? Ho do you know your acquaintances are looking into the matter objectively? Are you sure they’re as rigorous at searching for an innocent justification when a man commits a crime as they are with a woman?
Has it occurred to you that perhaps, barring mental instability, everyone ultimately behaves according to their lives’ circumstances? If you follow a male criminal’s life story, you will most likely find one that would have made most other people end up in a similar place.

Even if there is a difference, pointing it out when determining somebody’s behavior is not helpful. It’s usually only a justification for sexism anyway.

This reminds me of “Divorzio all’italiana” – hilarious movie.

Also, back in World War I, doctors were given orders to shoot their nurses in the head if the camp was taken over by the enemy, so that the women would be dead instead of being raped.
