Overall, moving to WordPress has been a great idea, and I congratulate myself on making the move. In the past year, Blogger has crashed several times and has undergone an interface change that makes it a pain in the ass to use.
I was the first commentator on this blog.
Hope you become so big one day that I put this on my resume!

Did you never figure out the South Africa mystery? I was sitting on the edge of my seat–I really wanted to know! 🙂
I don’t know how representative your last 7 days are of your visitors in general, but I enjoy seeing the distribution. My top 3 visiting countries are the US, Colombia, and Argentina. Too bad WordPress didn’t install this feature earlier.

Colombia? How interesting! Do you know why that happened?
The South African wave has now mostly subsided but it remains as much of a mystery as it was at the start.

I had a South Africa wave a few weeks back (though nowhere near as much of a wave as you did, given that I average around 150 views/day) – it turns out that a parent of a could of Autistic kids in SA found my blog and shared it. She then left a comment telling me what the influx of views from SA was from. It was very neat. I really like the new feature – so cool to see how international things can be. Happy WP Birthday!
