The WordPress app needs to get with the program. It keeps changing “Google ” to “tootle.” Has anybody even heard such a word?
And it changes “blog ” to “blot. ” What sense does that make in a blogging app?

When I use iPad to write my father’s memoirs, it often comes up with some strange words, too. If I am typing too fast, I miss the corrections it is automatically making. The keyboard is not tactile, and is a bit narrow, so it’s kind of awkward. Sometimes the automatic changes are serendipitous/poetic, but not always so.

Mmmm. Well, tootle is something you do with your horn, and blot is something one used to do when writing a lot. Clearly the database they used for the app either doesn’t have a recent dictionary or the predictive algorithm is a bit crummy.
