Ohio has just gone to Obama. This means we won, right?

P.S. Even Fox News has called Ohio for Obama. This means we are done, doesn’t it?

No. Gold is up. The dollar will nto be a reserve currency by the end of the year. You may have got the lightbringer as Prez, but you are now officially a banana republic.

There is a reason I live on an island in the South Pacific.

If we are a banana republic, that is ONLy because the lovely and moronic Pres. Bush drove this country into an enormous debt, destroyed its economy, and sold out the country to his cronies.

And it looks like Tammy Baldwin will be the first lesbian US Senator and the Dems will likely retain that chamber. But the GOP will probably retain your House… I really wish there was a consistent voting method in the US, along with a ban on gerrymandering. Way too many safe seats.

OK, I’m hearing that Baldwin lost. More than anything, I want this to be wrong.

      Is she winning?

I saw other projections calling it for her… CNN has her ahead by 3% with 59% of votes in. Fox News has her a projected winner.

They called Ohio for Obama but he’s ahead by less than two thousand votes or 0.1% at 11:45 so it’s not over until it’s over.

Just wait and see, we might even get Florida, which even I thought was too optimistic.

Obama’s got 284 electoral votes. He needed 270 to win.

I’m very curious to find out what conservatives make of it. Will they retreat into stupid conclusions like ‘Sandy changed everything’ or ‘Mormon Mitt wasn’t conservative enough to win’?

For now, they are saying in churlish tones that all those nasty brown people and women stole the election from them. No enlightenment is forthcoming any time soon.

Yes, Obama won!. Extremely happy about it except that I did not know that winning the US Presidency meant placing the President into the “Nothing To Do Club”. It seems that this is what some Catalans think about the US President’s role.

I, personally, urge the President to take care of his own people and business and do not promote the US policing role in the world. Mr President, please, are you bored about nothing to do?.
