Does anybody know what these products called “Memo Pads” are supposed to be doing? What is their purpose in life?

It’s pretty much a regular tablet, isn’t it? So their purpose in life is to do most of what low-end computers that are the size of a book and have no physical keyboards do. Serve as e-readers, let you watch movies in bed, play games, faff around on the Internet, that sort of stuff.
