63,8% of the same people, however, are against a war between Russia and Ukraine.
How these respondents process the contradiction is a mystery. Oh, the mysterious Russian soul!

I’d hardly call it mysterious, but rather prone to posing dramatically seeking either heroism or respect for its’ natural intelligence.
What the data say is that 56,7%, or some part of that 56,7% want an easy, unopposed invasion, rather like the stuff of the most melodramatic films about the great patriotic war.
