Front is conventional: strong lines but kind of anonymous, which is the kind of front I’d like to have to my own personality to ward people off. The back is more interesting.

That’s EXACTLY what I’m looking for in a house. You know me well. 🙂 🙂

Clarissa, this is the one house you made multiple posts about on this blog. Scared doesn’t mean you don’t want it, or that it won’t make you very happy after the scary decision part is behind you.

I know, I’m always this way. I dawdle and worry but then I make my decision and after that this will be the best house on the planet.
I also took forever finding a life partner but once I decided, that was it.

The house looks very nice (also the rooms you posted above, making a library is awesome!) Just be aware that with the water there might be a lot of mosquitoes in the spring/summer/autumn. But then again, if you are planing to mostly enjoy your evenings on the balcony it might not be a problem (I don’t think they fly very high, my parents have a 1st floor flat and they don’t have any problems, but the house we lived in before – Oh my god!)

Yes, mosquitoes are a concern. I’m VERY sensitive to them. We’ve never had any encounters with them in this area, not even in the woods. And that’s very confusing to me.

Is there a high bat population in the area? That might lower the insect population enough for there to be no encounters.

Yes, there are bats, I’ve seen them.

Ah ok, maybe it’s to dry for them? Then it wouldn’t be a problem 🙂
