So. I just drove my new car home from St. Louis. I was alone in the car, and this was the first time ever I drove alone on the interstate.
I was crying for the entire 53 minutes of the trip and yelling folk songs in Ukrainian at the top of my lungs. I’m a really bad singer and I wouldn’t do any singing unless it was absolutely necessary.
It was all kinds of horrible, people. But at least I’m now home with my car. It’s a very beautiful car.
What kind is it?
We want photos!
Why was it horrible??

Tomorrow I will post photos, I promise. Today I’m just dead. We also signed the papers on the house today.
There was this stretch of the road that’s under construction and I had to maneuver between the pylons and the trailer trucks that were abundant on the road. I was terrified!!!

That is the kind of situation where a small car is less scary than a big one. Of course I am biased; I prefer small cars.

We have a growing number of these tiny European cars in our region. They are really cute!

Congratulations!!! My husband just got a new car two days ago and he’s still riding the high. Enjoy your vehicle. I remember, when I was a newbie driver, it took me about a year to get fully relaxed while driving, and another year on the interstate.
The best of luck, and enjoy!
