To Go

You know why I almost never buy food to go? Because the chances that I’ll drop it into the biggest puddle available right outside the restaurant are enormous. As I just discovered.

  1. Take-out food and “doggie bag” are different. In the latter case, you sit down to eat but take the food you haven’t been able to eat home. But almost nobody says doggie bag anymore. Now you just ask for a box. With modern portion sizes the box is the alternative to wasting food, unless you can share an entree.

  2. This is why you don’t get your takeaway in some scruffy cheap plastic bin bag, but instead take your own slightly less cheap washable grocery tote along for this … 🙂

Also, unless you can justify getting your takeaway “doggie style”, I do not recommend using the phrase “doggie bag” to describe it. 🙂

(yes as usual we have been laughing at you lot the entire time …)

    [snicker] 🙂

  3. That reminds me of my GF. Every dish that passed through her hands managed to find the shortest distance to the ground at least once.
