Last night I found out that Twitter is not garbage. The reason why I used to hate Twitter is that my feed was stupid. I changed my feed, populated it with people who actually have important things to say, mastered the Twitter jargon, learned to write tweets that many people want to retweet, banned my very first vile freakazoid, and had a great time.
It only took a couple of hours, and now I’m a decent Twitterer. Moral of the story: overcome your rigidity, learn a new skill, change your mind about something, and you’ll remain young for as long as you shall live.
P.S. The way I motivated myself to learn Twitter is the way I motivate myself to learn pretty much everything: assigning it in class. (In my short form course, obviously.)
I just don’t want to be that involved …
After all, I have people for that. 🙂

As somebody on Twitter said, “I have tons of friends in all social networks except for the one called real life.” 🙂
