ClassPass staffer says “bros” should stalk, hit on sweaty women during its exercise classes

People see “sexism and mysogyny [sic]” everywhere. Except in places where there is real sexism and misogyny.

  1. I do not understand your intent in posting this link to “hitting on sweaty women at the gym” at all.

I can interpret it as meaning that you believe it is sexist to try to meet women at a gym. I can also interpret it as meaning that you believe that it is perfectly OK to meet women at a gym. As I have never understood when this is OK and when it is not OK, in terms of our cultural values, I am glad to be married and mostly out of a game I never learned to play properly.

    1. My point was that the article is stupid and finds sexism where there is none.

I’m also overjoyed to be out of the dating game because it was very repetitive and boring.

      1. “Mr Jones, is it acceptable if I ogle your crotch while you work out on the hip adductor machine with a full 250 kg set of weights on it? Is it acceptable if most of the women and a few of the men who are also waiting on the machine do this?”

Why I stopped going to the gym: not enough machines, too many tourists.

When I’m back in London and I need a workout again, I’ll take the Tube to Covent Garden and run up the stairs … 🙂

        1. I like my current gym mostly because it is always delightfully empty except for the hardcore weight room where I never go. I took a peek and it was filled with men chained to huge torture devices and moaning joyfully. I’m not that much into kink, so I just stay away from the torture chamber.
