Well at first I wondered why she’s wishing me a happy birthday so early and then I saw the Ukrainian and the hedgehog and realized it must be about her husband (does he read this blog?)
Speaking of hedgehogs I saw the first one of the year recently just before my Aegean adventure (I assume they hibernate in the winter though winter here was pretty non-existant).
No, the husband doesn’t read the blog because hearing all the same stories again would be way too much for him. 🙂 But I did show him this post. And he will see the comments once he finishes mowing the lawn. (This is the sacred enterprise that no celebration can supersede.)
Happy Birthday, N! It’s almost like I know you in person. 🙂
