Everybody is shocked that Bernie Sanders is drawing huge crowds. Bernie is also stunned.

But hey, is it really that surprising? Is there anybody who doesn’t feel like an idiot when imagining a Clinton / Bush election? Everybody is tired to death of these names and is desperate to hear something different.

Well, at least neither Bush nor Clinton wants America to go metric.

The country tried that when we had another lousy president (Carter), and it didn’t work out back then, either.

I still feel completely confused by inches, pounds and Fahrenheit, so I’m not with you on the metric system debate. 🙂

Come on, it’s much simpler for me to say I’m 6 feet tall than having to to state 1.83 meters. Also, when you’re driving on most American roads, a 10-mile distance equals about a 10-minute driving time.

And when I tell you that it’s 115 degrees here in Arizona today, you KNOW it’s hot. 🙂

I could guess that it’s hot in Arizona even if you said nothing at all. 🙂

Thank you for the 10-mile 10-minute pointer. I’m still very fuzzy on driving times.
