It turns out that there is a synonym for the idiotic word “microaggressions.” It’s “gotcha questions.”
The participants in the most recent Republican debates gave been moaning that mean, nasty journalists hurt their tender fee-fees with gotcha questions. It seems like they expected to be patted on the head and celebrated for just showing up, and when that didn’t transpire, they felt extremely traumatized.
I am wondering I the Republicans have a strong candidate.
If they do, can he/she beat Hilary?

No, they don’t. Right now, there is nobody. I have no idea what they are thinking.

I don’t know. I think Marco Rubio is going to be hard to beat. I hope Clinton can beat him. But I think his youth is really going to serve him well in the general election. And he may really harness the Hispanic vote which may potentially be devastating for the Democrats. I just hope Rubio does not get the nomination.

I am not sure they can think at all. 🙂 Hopefully, Hilary will win!

I really wish the Republicans had someone, it’s not healthy to hold the whitehouse for 12 or more years running, plus I’m fairly close to being a Rockefeller republican at heart (not that close but closer to any other traditional grouping).

But at present the Republicans are still firmly in the grips of the bible crazies and are incapable of fielding credible candidates as a result – they’re all Sugar Daddy Staters (who want big government to dole out the candy to them).

I agree completely. It’s always better to have functioning alternatives. It’s shameful what the Republican party has become.

We have a center-right President now. I am hoping we elect the center-left Bernie Sanders next year for a change.

Believe me, this statement depends on where you think the center is located!
According to astronomers, the physical nature of the universe is such that every single viewpoint within it appears to be the exact center. Maybe partisan political viewpoints have that same handicap. 🙂

Speaking at a Democratic fundraiser in New York City, Obama drew boisterous applause when he ripped into the Republicans running for the 2016 presidential nomination.
“Have you noticed that every one of these candidates say, ‘Obama’s weak. You know, [Russian President Vladimir] Putin’s kicking sand in his face. When I talk to Putin he’s going to straighten out.’ ”
“And then it turns out they can’t handle a bunch of CNBC moderators at the debate,” he said.
“I mean let me tell you, if you can’t handle – if you can’t handle those guys, then I don’t think the Chinese and the Russians are going to be too worried about you.”
