So did you make stuffing or not?

No, I can’t have carbs at this point in my life.

Stuffing is just an inferior carb dish for being a carb bomb anyway.
Huh, I thought the white stuff in the bowl was mashed potatoes. What is it then?

It is mashed potatoes! My favorite food in the world. And I even had some, but in a very controlled way. With the full approval of the doctor who calls me on the phone every single day to check. It turns out there are very conscientious doctors in this country.

You’re either very reactive to white foods or very special to the doctor. 🙂
I can tell you my dad’s diabetes doctor does not call him every day to check on how many potatoes and how much rice he eats.

Your dad probably knows how to make himself look competent, which I’m not managing to do. With me it’s all, “Now, you took the vial in your hand, right? And then you removed the cap, right? You did remember to remove the cap?”, etc.
