The Pope Chimes In

And, of course, the creepy Pope is chiming in with a speech on how more refugees need to be brought to Europe. He will only be too happy to see the women he so hates locked up and terrified into submission.

  1. How many Syrian refugees does the Vatican currently accommodate? As of September, there was one family:

The family — a father, mother and their two children — came from Damascus and are Melkite Greek Catholics, a Christian church with close ties to the Roman Catholic Church.

The Vatican said in a statement that the family, which was not named, arrived in Italy on Sept 6, the day Pope Francis made his appeal for European parishes to open their doors to refugees. The four Syrians have since asked for asylum.

It’s good that the Vatican has provided refuge for a Christian family; that’s not common for the United States or for Europe. Shirley Surely, however, the Vatican must by now house many Muslim refugees too. Perhaps a convenient nunnery has been evacuated and used to house them.
