Today’s Uber driver was Mustafa from Montenegro. I was glad to get him because if there’s got to be forced sociability, I’d at least like to talk about things that interest me, and a fellow European is likely to do that.
Mustafa was very interested in the Litvinenko murder, the fate of the Donetsk Airport, and Putin’s criminal connections.
In return, I tried reassuring him that Hillary will win the election but I was not very successful.
I’ve been enjoying the Uber posts, but just out of curiosity, why are you taking so many rides with Uber these days?

I have to go to a hospital an hour away for a health condition that makes it impossible for me to drive. But I’m looking on the positive side: I’m meeting new people and getting posts out of it.

Was he Albanian? The combination of muslimish name and interest in Russian misdeeds suggests that. (though a quick glance at wikipedia suggests there are Bosniaks there too and you’ve mentioned Bosnians in the area before as well…

Probably Bosnian but local Bosnians don’t like to say the word Bosnian because they know they are not liked. Why is a total mystery because they are a very peaceful, unproblematic community.
