The book I’m working on (and that will remain unnamed for fear of attracting spam) contains a lot of really fun Spanish slang. I realized, though, that I’m entirely unfamiliar with Spanish slang. I’m very good with Latin American slang (especially from Argentina, the Caribbean and Mexico) but my Spain Spanish is very prim and proper. The reason is that the only Spaniards I know are academics who speak the beautiful, correct and polite version of the language.

The wiki page also lists countries where “Spanish is commonly used” – as Andorra, and lists “Spanish based Creole language” spoken
