Instead of promoting the stupid rhetoric of “Bernie is hurting the party”, Democrats should worship at the altar of Bernie Sanders all day and every day. Bernie has been a gift to the party, and the longer he stays in the race, the better. The leadership of the party should beg him to stay on. Would the Democrats even appear on the news today if it weren’t for Bernie’s comments about a contested convention? No, it would all be about Trump and Cruz.
If Bernie had dropped out back in March, as people were suggesting, by August nobody would remember that anybody is running at all on the side of the Democrats. People follow conflict, drama, scandal. If everything is quiet, peaceful and decided, the interest dies.
