It’s disappointing that the Obama administration seriously considers issuing decrees about the deeply idiotic toilet issue but never bothered to do anything about the destruction of public education by state governments. We have students who will not be able to continue their education next year because they are not getting their grants. We have workers who can’t get seen by a doctor in spite of paying huge insurance premiums. But these are not the issues that this administration deigns to notice. And that’s quite disgusting.

That is, as they say, not a bug but a feature. His education secretary was Arne Duncan, a huge proponent of charter schools. Obama clearly must’ve known that when he appointed him. The question we should ask is why did we think he was a believer in state-run education.
Got to say, the ability of Obama to somehow be all things to all people has to be unparalleled in politics.
We swoon over his speeches about hateful republican rhetoric about immigration while he presides over an administration that has deported more people than any other administration in history.

I’m just happy he didn’t strike a grand bargain with the republicans where he gave up social security and medicare benefits in exchange for the right to change bathroom signs across the country.

Yes, I noticed how U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch felt it necessary to make a speech about the 15 or so individuals affected by the idiotic North Carolina law, but not about the many thousands of illegal aliens hiding in sanctuary cities, or about the rising violent crime rate across America as noted by FBI Director James Comey, or many other significantly more important issues.
Fortunately, the worst administration since the end of WWII will be over in five months–whoever wins in November will be a vast improvement.
