After I sent this as an e-mail to clarissasblog@hotmail.com with the subject line “Blog – Why passwords????,” it occurred to me that I could ask the same question publicly in this comment section, so here it is:
“Ah, Clarissa, why do you require personal passwords (which some of us are reluctant to share) to see the least controversial material on your website — which I assume are beautiful photos of your lovely baby Klara???
If I’m wrong about the content, or you want to tell me that the answer is none of my business, go ahead. But I’d appreciate an e-mail with a one-sentence reply at [my stated personal e-mail address]. [Or alternately, as a reply in this comment section.] Thanks.

One reason I could imagine is that maybe in some years baby Klara won’t appreciate to have her photos publically displayed all over interenet. Would you, if your parents did that?

Or what is more probable, she will want to take endless selfies and post them on her own website or start a YouTube channel of her own and I will need to explain why that is not a good idea.
