I won’t even link to New York Times’s stupid, stupid, STUPID 😠😈😬👹 article on public colleges in Illinois. Blah, blah, the governor and the Democrats in the Congress can’t reach an agreement, blah blah. Yeah, the psycho murderer and his hostages did not reach an agreement. They are totally equally to blame.
And this is how many people in the state think. Although I don’t know how advanced one’s dementia has to be for one to forget that while we had a Dem governor we did have a budget. And with stupid Rauner we don’t have a budget. But yeah, it’s totally both sides’ fault.
Idiots abound.
Well then I am happy I never got around to reading that piece. But disappointed because it looked like your plight was finally going to get the attention it deserves.

I’m disappointed, too! The issue deserves attention but not in this way.

I absolutely loathe the “equally to blame” rhetoric. One side is CLEARLY worse than the other side. It’s a knee jerk reaction so many people have. It’s maddening.

In this specific situation, besides, the Democrats have left no stone unturned to resolve the situation. I’m following the developments really closely and I absolutely insist that Rauner is being beyond unreasonable. He’s not even trying.
