As for the title question: it matters as much as whether he said back in 2004 whether his favorite color is orange or very orange.

One of the main reason democratic opinion makers went with obama over Clinton in 2008 was her meaningless vote in favor of invading Iraq (I was very much against the invasion but she really had no other choice and didn’t hold it against her).
They were pretty clear about that at the time though I imagine they’d like to forget that (I never will).

The whole purpose of burkas is to erase womens’ social identities – to turn them from individuals into fungible goods (like potatoes, kept in a sack in public and enjoyed in private).

Trump had supported the Iraq War in 2004 and he calls this week for a huge boost of military spending. So the only way that he would not support an Iraq War is if Putin would ask him to not to. The rest is utter bullshit!
