Or you will keep seeing sex in pictures of hedgehogs (all those phallic thingies on its back! And the pink nose! And the grey color like in fifty shades of! Porn references!) and news forecasts (hot! And humid! Are they mocking me!?!)

This quote is from an academic who is at an age when lack of sexual fulfillment becomes especially painful: 

At times, the clothes seem too sexualized, or perhaps it’s the gender/media scholar in me reading too much into the messages. Does a shirt with a fox on it (which seems to be a popular theme across brands) imply foxy (sexy), or have I taught too many semiotics classes?

No, lady, it ain’t about semiotics classes. And if you think this quote is crazy, read the whole article. Whatever her school is paying this clown is not enough because she’s funnier than any comedian.

    You read “needs to get laid”, I read “a woman who is so bored she’s laser focusing on her children’s clothing messaging.” Of course, I think many parents relive their puberty and middle school traumas through their children.

    A plain red round neck tee-shirt darned with matching thread, and a black and white capri pant covered in quatrefoils. The shoes are black patent D’Orsay flats.

      • I don’t understand half of the words you used. :-)))

      Seriously, though, these kids are definitely old enough to choose their own shirts. My niece was five when went to her new school wearing a princess dress, a tiara and carrying a big magic wand. Because that’s what she felt like. And nobody felt it necessary to lecture her on her clothing choice.
