I’m finally watching the new Gilmore Girls while doing my sexual harassment training. The characters are loud and they successfully drown out the training. Spoiler alert under the fold!
I’m inordinately happy that Michel is finally revealed to be gay. The whole series felt super creepy and 19th-century because of all the hints that he’s gay bit no direct mention of the fact. It’s like what, we are afraid of the word “gay” now?
Most of the characters aged and that’s creepy. Some didn’t age at all, and that’s even creepier. But if we set aside the looks, everybody aged in terms of having a lot less energy. And that’s the creepiest.
As you can see, sleeplessness is doing wonders for my vocabulary.

I never watched Gilmore Girls back when it was on, although I knew that it had a big following.
I like your summary of the new show though. It would make for a good ad campaign. “Gilmore Girls: They’re back and creepier than ever!”
