Why am I so exhausted? I don’t get this. I’m not doing anything special. The teaching schedule is not onerous. Students this semester are a breeze to teach. Like usual, there’s no service to speak of.

Yes, it’s sweltering hot. But then when isn’t it? I’m not getting this at all.

        1. Yep, I second this. It’s advisable to get a blood test first and check if you’re low on iron. If you aren’t iron-deficient, iron supplements could be harmful.

          1. Get your blood work checked before you start taking supplements. B-12 is another one. Or you could be in the very early stages of a bug.

Did you go on a vegetarian or a vegan diet?

  1. I do think seeing a doc is a good idea if you have unexplained fatigue. There are a lot of things that could be the cause. Routine blood work would be a good place to start.

  2. Off topic, but with all the busy weekend news, I forgot to remind you that Saturday was National Dog Day. Here’s one pooch who survived Hurricane Harvey.

  3. Another vote for blood work. Could be a number of things to do with diet – anemia, B vitamins, thyroid issues…
