NYTimes: The Ornithologist the Internet Called a Murderer

Comey and Hillary’s emails are on the news again because idiots abound. I’m afraid that this really important article on the assault on science by online outrage-mongers will get no attention. Unlike the stupid emails – and shame on those who still can’t let go of this subject – this is an issue that actually matters.

      1. Yeah, it’s fucking Google that does it every few months. They find something they deem objectionable and censor it. Dumb fuckers. I literally posted nothing but the pool stories and the link to the ornithologist article today. So annoying.

        1. I’m not usually conspiracy-minded but it seems to me that many people (bots?) might have reported this site as a phishing site.

          1. Yes, that’s exactly what happened. As I just discovered, a very well-meaning person who loves me linked to me at a website where people aren’t very friendly towards my ideas, let’s put it that way. So they started getting sore and are trying to close down the blog.

          1. Yes, exactly. A whole bunch of people got sore over a two-paragraph book review and tried to shut down the site over it.

The funny part is that I don’t even remember what I wrote in the review.
