I discovered that when Klara goes to bed, she doesn’t sleep. She spends the next hour and a half playing in her crib, singing songs, and pretending to read a book. On her own! She could do that this whole time!
I feel completely cheated.

This gave me a flashback memory to when I was about Klara’s age (I know from the house where we lived when I was that age, which is where the memory is set.) I told my mother that when I went to bed, I did not sleep, but just lay with my eyes open!
