Between my two marriages, I dated a lot. A LOT. Nine years of dating. But if somebody told me at the beginning of those nine years that in 2007 I was going to meet my next husband and the love of my life, I would have happily locked myself at home and stayed there reading books and not accepting a single date.
If this is not too personal question – do you feel that all this dating did not really affect you all that much, so it did not affect any important details of interactions between you and N?

Oh, it really affected me. It was, for the most part, a total waste of time and extremely annoying. I still feel annoyed about all the reading I could have done instead. Everybody suffered needlessly because I’m not a sweet person in dating scenarios.

Yeah, dating sucks.
That is probably why I married the only guy I ever kissed. Dating a bunch of people was waaaay too much hassle.
