Russians forcibly conscripted the musicians of the Donetsk philharmonic and sent them to fight in Mariupol. They all died. The motivation behind the urgency of starting the battle for the Donbass is Orthodox Easter which is April 24. That’s how Russia starts the Holy Week.

That’s small compared to forced mobilization till age 65 (!) and to kidnapping university students together with their professors (read this today but lost the link) to send them to be killed. 😦 😦

Мужчин ловят на улицах, забирают с работы, вытаскивают из квартир и просто снимают с автобусов. «Новобранцев» одевают в форму без опознавательных знаков, забирают все документы и отправляют на передовую.
А чтобы никуда не убежали – возят в закрытых железнодорожных вагонах.-

No, she’s simply an idiot. She’s convinced that nothing bad will happen. We’ve been at it for 8 years but it’s useless. That’s the Donbass people for you. Everybody asks me if the people of Donetsk are for Ukraine or for Russia. But they aren’t for or against anything. They are pro-sitting on their asses and doing nothing.
