Politicized Wordle

The NYTimes politicized Wordle today, and that is not OK. We all knew it would happen, and now it did. It took them a very short time before they messed with the pure, apolitical joy of Wordle.

Dirty bastards.

    “politicized Wordle today”

I did it (one of the few times I’ve gotten it by the third guess) but how was it political? Maybe I’ll look on twitter…

Okay, it looks like there were two different words today? I got the apolitical one… (AFAICT apolitical).

The word I got was fetus. All I’ve done to avoid the abortion debate, and it comes at me from this direction.

That’s weird. My word was “shine”.

P.S. My husband and food friend both got “shine” as well.

I was curious and looked it up. It seems like it was pretty innocuous. https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/gaming/1607528/Wordle-324-answers-two-May-9-Fetus

I always find it weird when they give two words instead of just one. I thought that defeats the purpose of the connection the game brings about. I got SHINE, by the way. I wonder how it chooses who gets what word.
