Right around now, we could all use a little Marxism. I’m not saying let’s go crazy and demand the dictatorship of the proletariat. But an understanding that we are being robbed wouldn’t be amiss. Just a bit of class consciousness wouldn’t be a bad thing at this point.

I think Marx was great at analysing social and economic phenomena, not so great at providing answers or suggesting solutions. His was a historian’s mind, not a philosopher’s.
