The problem with the American cultural scene is that it’s completely obsessed with servicing every political dad that crops up. At first, everybody wrote “in the age of #MeToo” novels. Now everybody is writing “in the era of George Floyd” ones.
Not only does this make for boring, conveyor-belt writing, the plots are ludicrous because nothing short of complete lunacy can sustain the #MeToo and GF narratives.

В мае 2022 года жительницу Санкт-Петербурга Ирину Кустову оштрафовали на 50 тысяч рублей за прослушивание песни 9 мая 2022 года. За громкое прослушивание песни, написанной Высоцким в 1965 году, российский суд признал Кустову виновной по статье 20.3.3 ч.1 КоАП РФ о дискредитации российской армии. Некоторые издания написали о том, что Кустова привлечена к ответственности «за аудиозапись про действия вооруженных сил РФ на Украине»

I think there is a typo, dad, instead of fad. It’s funny how you start thinking that the culture is serving dads. They might be the most under served population.

Those justices are out for a cultural war. I don’t believe for a second that American democracy is their major concern here. Look at the bolded by me part:
