Today I drove behind a car that was covered in stickers in support of Beto O’Rourke.

There are many things I don’t understand. And then there are things that are so bizarre I’m afraid of understanding them.

Entirely off-topic, but what’s going on with Cuba’s new family/marriage law? English-language media coverage seems very propagandistic, and I speak no Spanish

Cuba legalized gay marriage and approved a law promoting the equal sharing of household duties between men and women. Which… yeah. But it’s great they no longer put gays in concentration camps. I’m all for that.

      What’s everybody saying?

Redefinition of the whole concept of family blah blah. What you’re describing sounds great.

This is seriously the last thing to worry about for those who care about Cuba. They have a terrible history of mistreating the gays. I’m glad they are walking away from it but I mourn the victims.
